Statement of a Protest Meeting Participants against the Infringement of Rights of Russia’s Regions in the Field of Education
City of Ufa, Bashkortostan, Russia, May, 22, 2008
We, participants of a protest action against the infringement of Russia’s regions in the sphere of education, organised by Bashkir “Aqtamyr” Centre of Assistance to National Education and Bashkir public movement “Kük Büre” hereby voice our protest against the Federal centre’s attempt to do away with federalism in education.
December, 1, 2007 President of the Russian Federation has signed statute No 309-FZ “On amending some legislative acts of the Russian Federation concerning the notion and structure of the state educational standard” abolishing the national-regional component in the state educational standard. Abolishing the national-regional component of the said standard means a renunciation of a state guarantee to learn the second state language in Bashkortostan. i.e. Bashkir by pupils in its schools. This signifies limiting of instruction in the native tongue and literature in the national schools, scaling down the study of national culture and history of their people effected in the framework of this component.

Меня зовут Тимур Мухтаров, я являюсь сопредседателем Башкирского общественного движения «КYК БYРЕ». Решение Советского районного суда о статусе башкирского языка в СМИ и рекламе
Бөгөн, ниһайәт, минең дәғүәм буйынса Совет районы судының яҙма хөкөмөн алдым. Хөкөмдө тейешле ваҡытында яҙмай, бигерәк оҙаҡ мине интектерҙе судья һәм уның ярҙамсыһы И.Н. Пономарева.
Ошо хөкөм минең дәғүәмде өлөшләтә ҡәнәғәтләндерә. Ләкин хөкөмдөң икенсе өлөшө реклама буйынса талаптарымды кире ҡағырға ҡарар итә.
Дәғүәм һөҙөмтәһендә «Йәшлек» гәзитендә телепрограммалар башҡортса баҫыла башланды. Маҡсатыма ирештем тип әйтергә була.
Ә шулай ҙа был хөкөм менән мин тулыһынса килешә алмайым, шуға Башҡортостан Республикаһының Юғары судына кассация ялыуын тапшырҙым.
